Michael Weaver Jr. is a native of Kansas City, Missouri by way of St. Louis, Missouri. Weaver is a 2020 first-generation graduate of Kentucky State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music.
While at Kentucky State University, Weaver took on the mantle of leadership and served in several capacities in numerous organizations. Some of these roles include but are not limited to Executive First Vice President, SGA President & Student Regent, and Mister Kentucky State University. In the Fall of 2017, he was initiated as a member of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated. Michael also received national recognition as a White House HBCU Competitiveness Scholar and currently serves on the International Grand Board of Directors for Kappa Alpha Psi.
Michael N. Weaver Jr. has started making a name for himself on the speaking circuit with DreamWeaver Motivation. Speaking on topics such as Student Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion, How to Make your Dreams Come True, and many educational related topics. Weaver has also been featured on The Today Show speaking on the importance of representation in the classroom with the Men of Kappa Alpha Psi.
Michael centers his life around God, family, education, and community. Currently, Weaver is a master’s candidate in the Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis program with a focus in Student Affairs at The University of Wisconsin Madison and is the inaugural Director of Student Engagement for Woodson and Associates.
