Attentive Listening – As a strategy to improve your heart-centered leadership skills, active listening can encourage more vital communication between you and your team members. The objective of active listening is to fully understand the message, including any feelings beyond the spoken word that may be conveyed non-verbally. Alignment with Quality #3 – Model Self-Care and Quality #19 – Empathetic. This skill also aligns with Quality #12 – Mindful of Words and the practice of equanimity for clarity while listening.
